The Toddler Suite.
If you're between 2 and 3 years old you are a Little Rabbit or a Little Kingfisher. Every day is full of opportunities and adventures so bring your best smile and get ready for some fun!
Our toddler areas are carefully designed to be inviting, enchanting and wonderful places to be when you're 2! All of our resources and activities are easily accessible so you can do all of the things you enjoy whenever you want to do them. Our approach to our learning environment combines aspects of the Curiosity approach, child led play with a background of the Scandinavian Hygge ethos.
We have daily creative opportunities where you can learn new skills and develop existing ones. Art isn't just about brushes and pencils - we get messy with sensory doughs and different textures, outside easels and drawing with water: we've even had edible farm-scapes! Whether we're junk modelling or practising our fine motor skills with threading, there's always something new and exciting to make and create with.
Our toddler spaces combine activities, props and resources for every area of learning, from developing those all important social skills and making friends, to recognising our names and numbers to becoming enthusiastic and independent little explorers. We have a variety of zones and spaces, whether you've got lots of extra energy or you're in need of somewhere more quiet and calm.
Our toddlers have lots of easy access to the great outdoors, whether that's taking inside learning outside to our adjacent free-flow area or feeding the wildlife and using the large equipment in the main gardens we really are outside whatever the weather. Our 2-3 year olds even have their very own 'toddler town' ride on area complete with mud kitchen, tractor tyre roundabout, princess carriage and Jurassic park dinosaur driven explorers jeep!
